Private Edward Saphier 42001 Lancs Fusiliers

Unable to identify which Bn he was in, his MIC doesnt actually state a Bn number.

Shows he enlisted 2.12.15 and was discharged 15.11.18 and was awarded the BWM and Victory Medal. Under the reason for discharge is the following (as much as I can make out anyway)

PAN98 (a) 1

392 XV1 KR.

The XV1 is both under and over lined.

Can anybody find anything out about Private Saphier?

His brother Robert also served in WW1 in the RFA shows two service numbers 2241 & 677049.

Would love any info you can get on these two.

By the way, are you still listing MIC's held on the site? I seem to be growing a bit of a collection.
