The three Isherwood brothers from Prestwich all died in the war. We are of course going to include them on our Bury Virtual War Memorial. Unfortunately the Bury Times, our principal source of photographs, did not print those of any of the brothers. I shall try looking in other newspapers but does anyone happen to know where I can find pictures of these men?

Albert aged 21 of 12th Manchesters, died on 17/12/15 and is buried at Ypres Reservoir. Peter, aged 30 of 20th Royal Fusiliers was killed on 18/12/16 and is commemorated on Thiepval. John aged 27 of 20th Manchesters, died on 1/2/17 and is buried at Etaples.
