reeve.mj Posted 6 June , 2007 Share Posted 6 June , 2007 Can anyone please offer a potted history of 91st Siege Battery RGA? I can help with information from the Diary written by Major W F Christian at Tynemouth in 1920. This covers the formation of the 91st Siege Battery until November 11 1918. and the daily War Diary from the formation to the time War Diaries for Batteries were discontinued February 1916. My grandfather Richard Shrive was a 2nd Lieut in the battery having previously served in 121 (H) battery as a NCO before receiving a commission. I have made a data base of members of the battery and any references I can find and photographs. There is a list of addresses in Christians Diary for members of the battery on as at 11 Nov 1918. I would be please to help where I can. I am not too confident using this site !!!!!!!!!!! but I can try to put a picture of the 91st at Lydd in April 1916 if I can get it to work. There are six 'Bakers' in my records. Regards Mike Reeve
