I am placing this request on behalf of a friend who is attempting to research her Grandfathers activities in the Great War.

Does anyone have any information regarding :

Charles Henry William DALTON

We know his service number in 1919 when he was transfered from the RAF to the London Reserve Regiment, he was a Leading Aircraftman number 402401.

Charles as born in 1893 and enlisted in the Armed forces on 19th February 1912.

He may have served for a time in the Machine Gun Corps. He was definately in the RFC and the RAF.

He survived the war.

Thanks for any help :D
