Hi All

Does anybody know if a Roll of honour exsists for the above places, and if so where they might be?

Dave

There is no Roll of Honour for Bilston or Bradley,I have spent twelve months researching to enable me to compile one,and hopefully in the future publish. If you want some info please let me know.

Only started reading forum recently - I have some information that might help

Dave,

I have a copy of a "record and programme" for the "unveiling of War Memorials to the glorious dead of Bilston Bradley and Ettingshall" 1th November 1921. I have scanned this 24 page document, which includes lists of the soldiers listed on these three memorials. The total file size (22MB) is too big to attach, but if you would like a copy please contact me and I will send this to you.

Hi there,

Trying to attach a pdf of the Memorial Programme for the Bilston, Bradley and Ettingshall Memorials dedicated 11th November 1921.

I am currently researching this and the Bilston UDC paperwork showing the collation of the names of the Glorious Dead.

Have at least one Bilston soldier who seems to be missing, any help with 5527 Private Michael O'Neill (or O'Neil) 2nd Batt South Staffs Regt, born and raised Temple St, Bilston.

In a letter dated 21st November 1921 his brother John states he was killed in action Givenchy May 17th 1915, indexed info gives me 18th May.

Letter is obviously after the dedication and I will check if he has been added, but would love to know a little more about him.
