Alan Seymour Posted 5 December , 2002 Share Posted 5 December , 2002 If you have some spare cash you may find the following web-site of interest - Adam Matthew Publications Ltd, Marlborough, Wiltshire. THE FIRST WORLD WAR: A DOCUMENTARY RECORD - Series One: European War 1914-1919, the War Reserve Collection from Cambridge University Library. They have some very interesting micro-film sets available – not cheap though! Go to http://www.adam-matthew-publications.co.uk/ATOZUK.HTM then to THE FIRST WORLD WAR: A DOCUMENTARY RECORD or THE FIRST WORLD WAR: THE HOME FRONT, for a listing of what’s available. One of interest to me is: Part 5: The Royal Army Medical Corps, Red Cross and other Auxiliary Services 25 reels of 35mm silver-halide positive microfilm £2000 Available. That works out at £80 a reel for this set, yes expensive, but seeing what’s on it probably worth it – I wonder Dear Father Christmas ………..!!
