Woody Posted 20 November , 2005 Share Posted 20 November , 2005 Can anyone please help me with a bit of a mystery. I am trying to start some research on George Currell for a friend. I have downloaded his MIC and it shows service with the Herts Regiment as 2331 and also with the Notts and Derbys as 260175. His MIC shows entitlement to the the TFWM. I am ok with all of this - where I get confused is the MIC states KIA 4/11/1918. However, I cannot find him on the CWGX website or on the soldiers died CD. Could any wise member of the forum give me any ideas why this might be or where I am going wrong. Any help greatly appreciated Thanks Woody
ian turner Posted 21 November , 2005 Share Posted 21 November , 2005 Woody He does not readily appear, does he? I suggest you try contacting the CWGC and see what they have about him. Ian
Andrew Hesketh Posted 21 November , 2005 Share Posted 21 November , 2005 Woody, I tried various spellings of Currell and wildcards but also found nothing on CWGC. So I'm confused too.
