Tony Lund Posted 15 November , 2005 Share Posted 15 November , 2005 In the documentary 1914 - 1918, which was recently shown on TV, did anyone notice the man who threw his rifle into the side of the road as he approached the camera? I have seen this clip before; in the First World War in Colour, I think. The man is at the back of a marching group. Now that I have seen it in two documentaries it seems strange that the program makers never mention it. Or perhaps they don’t watch their own programs. Tony. Desmond7 Posted 15 November , 2005 Share Posted 15 November , 2005 Go to the thread below - I think the footage being described in your post was filmed at the same time as this picture was taken. If my memory is not playing up that is!!!! http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...f+the+great+war
