I liked it. Interesting spin.

Was particularly interested in seeing what Moose Jaw looked like as a couple of my researchees emigrated there and fought with the CEF

I enjoyed it as an interesting bit of late-night TV. It was straightforward, no-frills family history really. It did not make the mistake of being overly reverential, or pointing fingers at the usual suspects, but wove the separate tales of the two men who would become the alpha and omega of the British and Commonwealth fallen in the Great War.
