Ok a bit odd this one, but I was listening to a David Bowie song - that, "We can be heroes, if just for one day",one, and I thought about the men who died on the first day of the Somme and how well it related to them running out into a maelstrom of bullets and dying, and they were certainly heroes in my eyes........if just for one day.

The reason I posted this was because I was wondering if anyone had heard a song and thought how well it related to some men or a moment in the Great War.
