museumtom Posted 9 November , 2005 Share Posted 9 November , 2005 Looks like a relic 1907 pattern SMLE bayonet, British acceptance mark (arrow) three Enfield instectors marks (under the crowns) also 'X' bend test marking. Unit marked on the pommel to the 2nd Battalion Bedfordshire regt. The other unit marking is unreadable but could be Lancers. Issue date on the ricasso October 1909. Regards. Tom.
