Bob Coulson Posted 17 October , 2005 Share Posted 17 October , 2005 Looking into a local man who was KIA with the 7th East Yorks on this date at the Actions at The Bluff. Have the divisional history but would be grateful for any battalion history or war diary entries for the day. Many thanks. Bob.

The 16th Feb , the day they were relieved, was a pretty quiet day for the 7/E.Yorks (basically that's all it says in the history for this day!), their main action being on the 14th (which covers nearly 2 and a half pages of the history). I can scan and post the relevant entry covering 14th - 16th Feb if you wish. Dave.
