Doug Lewis Posted 30 May , 2004 Author Share Posted 30 May , 2004 Enoch I have not come across Jesse Merrick,he is not on the Wolverhampton roll of honour as he was not born here. I have at least another five memorials to research to my knowledge within Wolverhampton,if I come across him i will let you know. Just to say I still haven't found a memorial commemorating the loss of my two G Uncles and they were both from Wolverhampton. Regards Doug

sar2jec Posted 12 June , 2004 Share Posted 12 June , 2004 Thats brilliant Doug - many thanks!! If you can be bothered could you tell me the details of the other Sibsey men. It may be that we can have them added to the memorial. I think all the soldiers you identified were correct but could you check to see if you can find C. Lowe with the following extra information (I should have thought to give it to you before): Private Charles Lowe, 9th Bn. Leicestershire Regiment. KIA 14/07/1916 aged 29. Service number 14705. He was the son of Mrs. M. A. Palmer of London Road, Frampton, Boston, Lincs. Also do you have any idea what RFN stands for - you wrote it next to the name of Horace Eley. Many thanks, Jonathan

If you have a spare moment would you mind also giving me the names of the other six Sibsey men who were residing in Sibsey. There is no rush and I hate to keep asking (this should be the last time).
