Mathew,

Any idea where he was awarded his DFC. I am in the same boat with a Grandfather who was RNAS/RAF awarded a DFC in the LG 1 Jan 1919 and no citation. Could he be another 1 of the 3 who was not mentioned in the Salonika supplement of March 1919?

Any idea of the Squadron he was serving with on his DFC award?

Cheers,

Rob

Rob,

Alas no. Best information places him serving with No 1 squadron RNAS in April 1917 in France. Beyond that is currently hear say.
