MIC's. SWB readouts, War diaries

Hi Tom,

Muddling through the typos on the listing they seem to be telling you to e-mail them for an estimate, not actually selling anything for 2 pounds.

Who'll be the first to give this a test-run?

He probably goes to the NA, looks up the required image for free, notes down the secret information  and then views at his leisure from the comfort of his home using that information. Crops the image to discard the 5 irrelevant ones and then emails the buyer with his find.

Alternatively if he doesn't know that trick he prints out the required MIC and then scans it in at home, although this one cuts into his profits.

I emailed him and asked what the cost would be for an MIC.

Hello

Good luck to him.

Perhaps with some competition the NA might rethink their prices - or stop the  activity

I might be interested in some "great war elated artical" (sic)

And more seriously, as someone who does not live in easy reach of Kew, I'm all for cheap info.

No its not the Mancunian professor from Cambridge.

Who lives in a house like this.........from Enfield and bad spelling. He has also made an offer like this on forum. Good look to the fella.

Got him - I think.

And good luck to him - seems like he's getting a bit of flack on ebay though.

"If you had any relatives in the great war there medal card can be found"

Really? Even if they only served at Catterick? Tut, tut. Must do better.

Assuming this is who I now think it is - good luck mate. Pity you're getting flak. Better line of business than some of the old tat you used to try and flog off.

Not that I know if the seller would read something posted here, of course. B)

There’s no catch!

I emailed him yesterday and got the MIC emailed to me today. £1.50 less than if I’d got it from the NA website.

I’ll definitely use him again.

Poor devil. No longer on eBay. Probably get more business here (I hope).

Do the MIC that you purchase from NA tell you anymore than the ones I got online - eg is anything written on the back of the MIC ?

If so, well worth paying for this service

Good luck to you fella. I would use it, if only to support a fellow PAL...

10 days have passed since I paid for MIC's .I have received 2 and he says he is unable to do the others. No refund to date either, so at present I have paid £10 for 2 MIC's. Poor show and very disappointing.

Regards Steve.
