Glombitza lies in a CWGC cemetery. From CWGC There are seventeen Commonwealth burials and a memorial stone commemorating five who have no known graves. All but one grave were brought in after the armistice. Thirteen are graves of men killed at the battle of Sandfontein on 26 September 1914 and originally buried there and the memorial stone commemorates five who were killed in the same battle. The German War Memorial website at http://www.denkmalprojekt.org/en.htm (English page), tells us that Sgt. Glombitza was born on 30/09/1883.
