Frajohn Posted 16 September , 2005 Share Posted 16 September , 2005 Is it possible that anyone could give me an indication where 'D'Battery 48th BDE RFA were on the 20th to 25th September 1916 please? I believe it was in the vicinity of Ginchy. The officer, on one of my local memorials, was wounded on the 21st, moved to Etaples, where he died on the 25th September. Many thanks for any assistance Regards John
rflory Posted 18 September , 2005 Share Posted 18 September , 2005 John: Other than saying that 48 Brigade, RFA was part of the 14th Divisional Artillery at that time I can't give you any information about the brigade, but if you give me the name of your officer I may be able to find some information that way.
