armourersergeant Posted 9 September , 2005 Share Posted 9 September , 2005 General Douglas was CIGS, and a pretty poor one. He died at his post sometime in 1914, which was when Murray took over. Thats General Wolfe Murray, not Archibald Murray just to confuse. I too have found it a little difficult to get info on him.
