Matthew B. Posted 9 September , 2005 Share Posted 9 September , 2005 Does anyone have the 16th Lancers history which covers the great war period and would be prepared to do a look up? I am interested in one Captain W. A. K. Fraser who wasa 38th Central India Horse officer who was attached to them from early 1915 onwards, and who was awarded the Military Cross whilst serving with the regiment, the MC being gazetted in January 1916 - New Years Honours. Many thanks, Matthew B.

I am due to go there soon (hopefully this week) so I will try and do a look up then if you want. What info are you after specifically?
Matthew B. Posted 28 September , 2005 Author Share Posted 28 September , 2005 Ciaran, Thanks for replying I am looking for any mention of this officer - what information I have on this part of his life I have posted. I also understand he ceased being attached in 1917. He had served attached to 9th lancers in 1914 before being wounded in late 1914. Many thanks, Matthew B.
