Hi Bernard

I had a look at the K.S.L.I. History to see if Major H.W. Kettlewell is mentioned. The only info. I could find was that he was mentioned in Despatches three times and his rank is recorded as Lt.-Colonel.

Thanks again Doug and also Annette for the info. As I'm waiting to collect my wife once she gets back by train from London I'll have to download the info tomorrow.

Thanks again!

No problem. Grandson sitting at present but I'll get it to you tomorrow. It's a head and shoulders in a large group so not massive, I'm afraid.

Hi Bernard,

I was revisiting this thread to ask again for the image as I am just a couple of weeks away from submitting the manuscript for which I required it.

I have only just seen that you had responded to the request on here (apologies).

I sent the following PM just after my request on here last year. I'm not sure if it was received...

However, I did not get the email of the photograph.

Hi Bernard,

I have posted on your thread regarding the photographs but it is an old thread so I thought I'd PM you as well.

I have some info on Hinds that I can forward to you if it's of interest?

I am looking for a photograph of him for a book which features a biography on him so it would be great if you could supply one.

Cheers

Neil

I will PM my email address now. If you could forward the image then I would be very grateful as Hinds is one of just a few men (out of more than 100 in the book) for whom I have no photograph.

Many thanks

Neil

If you do PM your email address I'll send it on to you, Neil. I think the earlier reply might have gone to the wrong email address!
