Muerrisch Posted 14 July , 2003 Share Posted 14 July , 2003 No, nor false teeth. Wooden legs tended to keep you out, though. Seriously, no, I have a fair number of photos of chaps wearing specs, and I know of an officer whose upper denture was officially wounded. Had his mouth open, I guess. Kate Wills Posted 14 July , 2003 Share Posted 14 July , 2003 I read one first hand account by a man who was slightly short-sighted and went to war with his specs. However, his comrades said they didn't much care for wearing glasses in the front line, as they reflected the Very lights, and thereafter he did without.
