pat Posted 11 December , 2003 Share Posted 11 December , 2003 Martin How fantastic that you have this book! Please could you take a look at my post in the "Soldiers" section about 1250 Pte William Phillips? I am a bit mystified as to how he came to be killed so early in the war - Feb 1915 - and apparently without going overseas. Does your book mention where the 2nd Btn was in Feb 1915 and whether there were any training accidents around this time? Also, would you happen to know if he was a territorial before the war (as his low number may suggest)? Finally, is there any mention of his 3 older brothers: Frank, John and Charles? Many thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this. Pat Phillips
