Hi Shaymen

Do you happen to have the war diary for the 7th Battalion East Surreys for May to December 1917? They were at the battle of Cambrai - my grandfather joined the Bn in June 1917 and was captured in Nov/Dec.

Many thanks

Phil

Sorry Phil

Don't have the 7th East Surreys.

Again it might be worth starting a thread in Unit/Formations and asking there.

May I remind Pals looking for diary downloads that Glyn and others have posted here what we have. If we havnt listed it, we havnt got it.

There may be other threads in the Repository section where others have posted what they have. The "search" facility will find them if they exist.

Other than that, Glyn's advice in the previous post is the one to follow.

Glyn, do you have anything on the 7th Royal West Kents? I have Atkinsons book but was wondering if you had anything more? I am researching my great uncle Lt Robert Crosse who was killed on 13th July 1916. Thanks

Hello

Does anyone have WO 95/2995 the diary for the 291st Brigade, R.F.A. 1917-1918?

I recently went to the NA and photographed about 35 pages but the photos are of poor quality and, as I live in Cornwall, a fair way to go back and retake them.

Much appreciated if you can help.

Regards

John
