When I was on last year (ypres) I offered my services to take photo's of the lads (mainly Canadian) in the Seaford Cemetery, I also pass Eastboune Cemetery at least three times a week,

Just let me know if you want anything and I'll gladly tootle along and get those pics for you.

Hello Mandy,

I found your very kind offer whilst doing a search and I wondered if you could take a photo of the grave of:

Corporal 2010607 Leslie Knight Tuck

3rd (Reserve) Canadian Engineers

Born in Bournemouth Hampshire.

Died 20/3/1919 aged 24.

Buried Seaford Cemetery.

Grave Ref A. 2925.

Please don’t put yourself to any trouble, whenever it is convenient for you.

Kindest regards,

Stephen.

ps

I tried to leave this message as a PM but it kept coming back undeliverable.

As Mandy's offer was made in 2005, she may not be able to oblige now. Therefore I have attached the pic you want.

I can let you have a larger version if you PM me your email address.

Reviving an older thread, does any Pal live near Seaford Cemetery and could take a couple of photos for me?

A public note of appreciation to Joan for braving a rainstorm to take some great photos for me. Thanks from British Columbia!

It was a pleasure I am not a font of all wisdom regarding the military aspects of the Great War...it is the stories of the men and their families that are my prime motivation. so taking photos is the least I can do to keep their stories alive

Best wishes Joan

P.S. Today the weather in Sussex is absolutley glorious
