If anyone is in the vicinity of Pont à Mousson between now and the end of June, they might like to pop into the Mairie where there is an exhibition of photographs about the US volunteerr ambulance drivers.

The exhibition is purely photographs and many can be downloaded from the internet already so it isn't worth a special trip, but it is worth going in for half an hour if you are passing by.

Unfortunately, there is no catalogue, but you may be lucky and able to see a DVD of WW1 film showing the work of these drivers and the French system for dealing with casualties (but I can't promise; someone was shopwing the DVD on a lap top when I was there).
