Mandy- surely it is not surprising that there are approx 30 US WW1 veterans left alive, considering the size of their population & the numbers who enlisted in 1917-18. Additionally, this number may include "foreign" veterans who emigrated to the States post WW1. Anyway folks, have a great Whitsun or Memorial Day, whichever is apporopriate.
