I am interested in information anyone may have on George Henry Kirkham, Private in Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry

possibly between 1914-1918. The only information I have is he lived in Ashbounre, Derbyshire, and was a Blacksmith, but may have been killed or wounded during the war.

I've looked on the SDGWcd and the only George Henry Kirkham mentioned is:

G/19602 Private George Henry Kirkham.

10th Bn Royal West Kent Regiment

KiA 31/07/17 F&F

Born: Turnstall, Staffs

Enlisted: Hanley, Staffs

Resided: Macclesfield, Staffs

Previously served as M/297080 in RASC M.T.

There were a few with the name George and with second names, but none matched your criteria.
