"Orgiano - Italy Jan. 1919. B.Coy Officers + Sergeants 8th Batt Devonshire Regt."

There are 3 Military Medal ribbons on show, an officer with a Military Cross ribbon, and an unknown ribbon on the right. One officer appears to be badged to 1st (Royal) Dragoons?, another to the Wiltshire Regt.?

Can anyone point me to a War Diary for 8th Devonshires in Italy, the only one I can find ends November 1917.

It's under WO95 4225 but the Italy diaries are not yet digitised?

And I cannot give you link as it is playing up at NA.

Nice photo

Edit, here is NA link:

Many thanks Charlie962.

I bought a copy of the card online and another identical copy appeared for sale within a day or two. Unfortunately the second card was damaged in the post.

Surely Italian sources cannot help... nearly all Regimental histories end in November 1918. Then from the 1° to 94° Reggimento Fanteria were regular Army, the others were disbanded because they were created in 1915-17
