Remembering 3/3105 Corporal John TIPPINS, 2nd Battalion, Essex Regiment killed in action 26th November 1914, aged 27.

He represented Great Britain many times in international shooting competitions and won numerous prizes at Bisley, where he was well known as one of the finest marksmen in the world. Buried at Calvaire (Essex) Military Cemetery, Grave 1.C.6.   Score 38
