topdeer Posted 4 September Share Posted 4 September I'm looking into a Private Thomas Pipes 14633 and found he was Deserter or Absentee from His Majesty's Service. It was issued in the Police Gazette 1916-1918 but I can't find the Gazette with his name in or what punishment he got so help with this would be great. Allan1892 Posted 4 September Share Posted 4 September May I ask how you know he was a deserter. A search of the Police Gazette online has failed to find anything.
