Dodgson Memorial, Contalmaison

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I was over in France last week and noticed the memorial to Capt Francis “Toby” Dodgson at Contalmaison had gone. I mentioned it to Charles Fair and he wasn’t aware, so I just wondered if anyone had heard anything about it? It’s been knocked by tractors a few times over the years so I hope it’s still in one piece wherever it has gone.

Cheers

Maybe @Poppy Mercier might have heard something?

Can’t say I’ve seen anyone mention it recently. I’ll ask around and see what’s happened - it could be it was knocked over and damaged so has been taken away. I’ll see what I can find.
