FROGSMILE Posted 31 May , 2024 Posted 31 May , 2024 (edited) Old Comrades Association in Brinkum members medallion or lapel badge. It might perhaps have had a piece of coloured ribbon through the ring. “Brinkum is a municipality in the district of Leer, in Lower Saxony, Germany.” Edited 31 May , 2024 by FROGSMILE

I would opt for a different Brinkum, that which is situated in the district of Syke near Bremen. Much larger then and now (10,000) than it´s name equivalent across the river Weser. GreyC

GreyC Thank you GreyC that makes much more sense. I did not know there were two places of that name. It’s good that you spotted this 👍
GreyC Posted 31 May , 2024 Posted 31 May , 2024 There is no guarantee, that I am correct, it´s just another option that seems slightly more plausible. Best, GreyC
