I was wondering if someone could help I found this spoon in my late fathers belongings and was hoping someone could share some light on the owner

That service number looks too short to me for it to be ww2 

FindMyPast has only one candidate with that number in RGA (image courtesy FMP)

WW1 for sure as RGA, RFA and RHA all became RA I think around 1922. Very nice.
