Mention in Despatches London Gazette

Hello I am trying to find a MID mention for Captain Thomas Lloyd Shropshire L.I., I APRIL 1918, 

Any help much appriciated

There is a T/Capt Lloyd in the General List page 6168 but he has the Initial 'S'

Your man is shown on the record as Adjutant General List so he was no longer a Regimental Officer. My guess is this is him

The 1920 Officers War Service book has the following

Lloyd. T. Capt Shrops L I

S. African War 1901-2. Operations in the Transvaal, Orange River Colony and Cape Colony. Queens Medal with 5 clasps.

1914-9  Empld as Instr, 15 Corps Inf School from 26 Apr 1917. France and Belgium Dec 14 to Feb 15, Jun 15 to Aug 15 and Oct 16 to Nov 18. Wounded. Despatches Lond Gaz 24 May 1918.

The 1924 Half Yearly War Services Book has the same info as above with the extra info of Clasps Nos 14, 15, 16, 25, 26.

The index in th front states

14,   Cape Colony

15,   Orange Free State

16,   Transvaal

25,   SA 1901

26,   SA 1902
