Prisoners of War in German South West Africa - is there a list of?

I recently acquired medals to a Patrick O'Connor. This gentleman fought with the 20th Mounted Rifles (Graaff Reinet) in GSWA before moving over to the 4th South African Horse for German East Africa. An interesting document I have obtained from the SANDF Archives (see extract below) indicates that he was taken POW at some point in German South West Africa.

Is there a list of SA men taken POW in that campaign I could access? I thought there was one on Chris Boonzaier's Kaiser's Cross but a search proved unrewarding.

Thanks Corisande - Bushfighter hasn't been on site for almost four months so I have sent him a PM. If anyone else is able to assist I would be very grateful.

There are Prisoner of War databases on both Findmypast and Ancestry. Although it is unlikely they would contain South Africans in German East Africa, it is probably  worth checking just to be sure.

Thanks Maureen. I have checked. Sadly nothing for German South West Africa - there are KIA and WIA on Chris Boonzaire's site but nothing iro POW's - I'm beginning to think there is no official list.

All the best
