I know little about seafarers, but would guess that the men in this photo are WW1 Merchant Navy officers. Can anyone confirm this? Also, does anyone recognise the large house that is the location for their meeting? Maybe this is one of the landmarks of Southampton, Cardiff etc and a forum member lives just up the road?
