Usually something turns up on there but not today.

Thanks for trying, the only consolation is that I haven’t missed something obvious. Spent most of the afternoon down this rabbit hole. 
 

Anyone else come across a casualty with no Effects Register entry?

Something I can't understand is the date on the medal roll is to 24/9/17, yet he died on the 29th April at Arras. He was in D company. My Grandfather joined the Battalion at the same time.

The only explanation I could come up with was a transcription error 24/9 for 29/4.
