Army Service Corp Supply

Hi 

Just wondering if any ASC experts can give any tips on the following 

344 & 343 Depot of Supply ?

No4 & 5 Line of  Communication Supply Company 

Not an ACS expert so anything very much appreciated

This aspect of ASC work has not been studied in any great detail. A Depot Unit of Supply was normally located at one of the Bases on the English Channel. They received supplies and issued them to the daily pack trains that took the supplies forward to the front. As the pack trains moved forward, they were added to by rail cars from other locations. These junction points woukd have had a supply unit to handle the transactions. This is where a L of C Supply Company would have fit in.
