Waggoner Posted 26 October , 2023 Share Posted 26 October , 2023 This aspect of ASC work has not been studied in any great detail. A Depot Unit of Supply was normally located at one of the Bases on the English Channel. They received supplies and issued them to the daily pack trains that took the supplies forward to the front. As the pack trains moved forward, they were added to by rail cars from other locations. These junction points woukd have had a supply unit to handle the transactions.
