422244 William Dodgson ex Cheshire Regiment

I am doing some research on 422244 William Dodgson i was looking at his Silver War Badge Record which i have attached. It has unit discharged from C.O.Ex Ches Reg. Could anyone elaborate what the C.O. would mean? Thanks in advance.

On the page before your man is Edwin P Chapman 651521. He is also shown as C.O.

His WO 364 has under Unit of Labour Corps "Clearing Office".  TNA/Ancestry WO 364.

I was lucky. It was the first name I saw and he had a record. It was on the first page I looked at.
