Remembered Today:

Service record with medical history, Joseph Edwards number 16807

A few months ago, I am sure I found a full service history with medical details for this man.  I wrote down the details which agree with the brief summary on these pension cards.  It said he had trouble exercising, they couldn't diagnose a medical cause but he was discharged in 1916.

Now I can't find that service history anywhere ! I hope I didn't pick another man's record by mistake.  I have rechecked Ancestry, Western Front records, and National Archives. If anyone can find it, please just tell me where, I know you aren't allowed to actually copy the record.   Or suggest where else I should look. He didn't qualify for the CWGC.   This is for a village history project researching all the men on a memorial plaque.  Thanks very much.

I'm afraid I don't subscribe so can't post direct links but:

Ancestry Military Records - Just used search criteria first name "Joseph" surname "Edwards" anything "Berkshire 16807" and they are there under Pensions Records.

FindMyPast - Search criteria optional keywords "Berkshire" and Soldier Number "16807" brings up:-
