Webley MkVI 1917

Latest one for your perusal (NFS).

1917 dated MkVI, very tight lockup, superb bore & chambers, all matching numbers. It has the usual Sold Out Of Service marks on the frame and barrel.

Finish is very thin overall, I'm contemplating a 'gentle' rust bluing to bring back some of the colour. Photo is not the sharpest, but It has very little pitting or staining, just a light freckling on this side of the barrel flat. A couple of the screw heads will need to be cleaned up....

It spent most of its latter years wearing a Parker-Hale .22LR conversion cylinder and Morris tube (part of the deal) which probably accounts for the mint bore and cylinders, and minimal play on the action.

It was wearing this style of .22 conversion (stock photo).
