Clopton War Hospital

Does anyone have any information about Clopton War Hospital near Stratford upon Avon? The soldier I'm researching was at the hospital in April/May 1915 after he injured his foot at 2nd Ypres (I think).

What was the procedure of transporting the injured back to England? Were certain war hospitals designated for specific types of injury? How long was Clopton in operation? Size? Number of patients/staff? Is there a good resource on specifics about the individual hospitals?
