Looking for more information about Private John Henry Henningham, Canadian Pionier Battalion, Regimental Number 678837 and survived the War. John Henry Henningham was living in the area of 64 University Avenue, Toronto, Canada and was born in Birmingham (England) on June 20th 1878.   I’ve already found his Service Records. Good morning Patrick,

John Henry Henningham married Alice Hartill at St Mary's Church, Birmingham on the 23 October 1904.

John Henry left for Canada by himself aboard the SS Megantic which sailed from Liverpool on the 12 April 1913. He has declared that he was a Labourer age 21 years. The passenger list shows that he was leaving the ship at Portland, Maine and that his final destination was to be Canada. The U.S. Atlantic Ports Passenger Lists (18+93 to 1959) database shows that the SS Magantic arrived at Portland, Maine on the 22 April 1913. John Henry is recorded as being 34 years of age (estimated year of birth = 1879) and that his final destination was to be Peterboro, Ontario.

John Henry's wife, Alice, together with daughters Edna; Lizzie and Phyllis joined him in Canada in 1921. They sailed from Liverpool aboard the SS Minnedosa which left Liverpool on the 19 March 1921.
