Howard Posted 22 February , 2023 Share Posted 22 February , 2023 When trying to assemble a list of map features from French maps, I have run into a language problem because a lot of the features are abbreviated. B. is Boyau= Communication trench Tr. is tranchée = A trench organised for fire I assume Ance Tr. Vigne is Ancienne Tranchée Vigne and Saillt in Saillt de le Ville is Salient but I am not at all sure what the Nelle in Nelle Tr. Vigne is on the eastern side of this fragment.
