"In Suspicious Circumstances": 1994 TV "Shot at Dawn" episode

Channel-flicking last night, I caught on Talking Pictures TV the beginning of a WWI episode, one of a series about suspicious and questionable  deaths presented by Edward Woodward in the early 1990s

With the title of "To Encourage The Others - Have A Drink On Me", it dramatised the trials and executions of three soldiers (one from the 9th Royal Irish Rifles, the others Bradford Pals) for desertion.

The episode is available until February 4 on Talking Pictures Encore (which requires registration to access) and, happily, it's being repeated tomorrow evening, Monday, at 1900.
