Tank Corps 14th Btn Andrew Wood 305056 demoted but not to avoid court marshal ?

i was looking at his service records what doe sit mean asked to be demoted not to avoid court Marshal and what does Afric mean top left on second form any info on him would be useful as hard to understand what he did

Believe that reads "Agric", i.e. short for Agricultural, so serving with 533 Agricultural Company. But I'd expect that to be Labour Corps rather than Tank Corps.

They seem to have sent him  to Agric company after service with the 14th tanks if I understand that correctly

He seems to have little more than 2 weeks with the 14th Battalion based on what you've posted  - 16th October 1918 to his posting to the 19th Battalion on the 2nd November 1918.

He's sent on attachment to the Labour Corps rather than being transferred, presumably as its post-war, hence retaining his Tank Corps service number.
