Great War Truck Posted 14 November , 2022 Share Posted 14 November , 2022 My cousin Alfred King Tripe was the commander of the MK IV Tank E3 known as Eclipse II and who died on 23 November when his tank received a direct hit near Round Trench on the plain of Moeuvres. I will be in Cambrai for a few days and thought I would visit the approximate location. Can anybody please tell me where i would find Round Trench? jay dubaya Posted 15 November , 2022 Share Posted 15 November , 2022 It can be found on sheet 57cNE1.E.21.b +d Its around 500 yards east from the lock gate and meets the Moeuvres to Harvincourt Road around 800 yards from the same spot.
