Peter Beckett Posted 24 April , 2005 Share Posted 24 April , 2005 Marco, thanks for that link. I had not realised that the Belgium Army in 1914 were using "weapons of terror", namely a Gettoblaster Peter
Marco Posted 24 April , 2005 Share Posted 24 April , 2005 Hello peter, I wasn’t aware of that fact either. Of course this is proof that re-enacting helps us understand how people lived and how battles were fought. Seriously: excellent day and HQ re-enacting. LizM Posted 25 April , 2005 Share Posted 25 April , 2005 Hi all Yes, it was a brilliant weekend, good to see you BKristoff rushing around on your bike!! Great meeting everyone. After the concert on Saturday (which was excellant very well done), Max Arthur and I walked around the camp it was very authentic, especially the Germans. We came upon a scene which could of been reminiscent of the Christmas Truce. Looking forward to next year already! See you all again soon LizM
