A Rankin Posted 4 November , 2022 Share Posted 4 November , 2022 I have just discovered a mention of this document in a Stationery Service Catalogue (SS 390 November 1916) The full title is Wellesley Gun Chart. (A) Description. (B) Chart, for Field, Heavy, and Siege batteries. (C) Extension Chart, for Heavy and Siege Batteries and it was published around September 1916. I believe that the Wellesley in the title may refer to R.A.C. Wellesley, who was the Commander, Royal Artillery of 21 Division from Oct 1915 to May 1917 and was then GOCRA for XIII Corps. This is purely based on the name and artillery basis of the pamphlet. I have looked into the relevant war diaries and the major archival institutions and have not been able to source a copy. If anyone has heard of this document or has a copy, I'd be grateful for further information.
