Good Morning all.

Two  water colour paintings of a young lady have come into my possession signed on the back by a J.Neck 38th R.F. A. 1919. Can any one shine a light on who he was and from where.

many thanks

Welcome to the forum. The only J Neck I can find a medal card for (courtesy of Ancestry.co.Uk) is this man. I don’t have further subscription to check medal rolls etc.

Associated Medal Index Card. Didn't serve in a Theatre of War during the Great War but did serve overseas on garrison duty, hence a British War Medal. Most likely in India. Like most other ranks the back of the card is blank. Also like most other ranks his service records appear to have gone up in flames when German bombs hit the London warehouse where they were being stored in WW2.
